Desarrollo Humano
Documentary
Spain, 30 minutes
Directed by David Munoz
Summary:
Every year, the United Nation Organization publishes a report on Human Development to establish a worldwide ranking of countries based on a worldwide ranking of countries based on a wide correlation of social, economic, demographic and health indicators. For the fifth consecutive year, Norway appears as the most developed country on t he planet, while Niger, again, takes last place on the list. This documentary arose from the intention of getting to know the people who live in these countries, what they think, how they live and how they feel. It reveals that people’s happiness is not necessarily tied to the concept of “development” as we usually understand it.
