TIMOTHY E. Rhys: WRITER/DIRECTOR

Timothy E. Rhys is a writer and director who edits and publishes MovieMaker, the national magazine he founded in 1993. He is the president of MovieMaker Publishing Co., Inc., and develops independent motion pictures through his production company, Camden Pictures. Tim founded MovieMaker after graduating from the Vancouver Film School; formerly he earned a B.A. in journalism at the University of Maine and worked on the editorial staff of several nationally circulated magazines. Besides Men in Scoring Position (1999), the feature film he wrote, directed and produced, which is being distributed by Creative Light Entertainment in Los Angeles, Tim has written several other feature length screenplays and directed shorts and documentaries. He and his children, Shannon and Nicholas, divide their time between Los Angeles and southern Maine.
